Experience Questions

  • Your experience will be meaningful, personal, and completely your own. Located in a private loft in the beautiful downtown Franklin neighborhood, our boutique is a calm, intentional space designed to help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

Each 90-minute fitting is private and led by one of our expert stylists. We’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and guide you through our curated selection of luxury ready-to-wear and exclusive custom couture with clarity and ease.

  • Yes. Ila Bridal is open by reservation only, ensuring you have a relaxed experience and our full attention for the entire 90 minutes.

If your plans change, we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • Our gowns are rare—each style is one-of-a-kind and available in limited quantity. Because of that, we recommend booking your private fitting when you feel ready to purchase. It protects the integrity of the collection and allows for a more intentional, stress-free experience.

That doesn’t mean you need to know exactly what you want. Figuring that out with our expert stylists is part of the magic.

  • This one’s important. While we love an entourage, we’ve found that a smaller group makes for a more enjoyable experience. Too many opinions can lead to confusion, and we never want that for our brides.

We recommend bringing up to 4 (max) of your most supportive people. Or come solo—it’s more common than you’d think, and might just be the best way for you to shop with confidence and clarity.

  • Besides an open and hopeful heart, wearing a pair of underwear is the only thing required for your fitting (seamless or nude is best!). We also recommend bringing nipple covers or pasties, shapewear if you plan to wear it, and your favorite bra. To help protect the gowns, we kindly ask that you arrive with clean skin and avoid tanning products or body makeup.

  • Yes, we charge a $50 booking fee to help us prepare for your visit, ensuring an intimate and successful experience.

If you’re visiting from out of town, we’re happy to help you find a reputable bridal tailor in your area.

  • Ila Bridal is named after its founder, Ila, whose name was given in honor of a beloved family friend. Growing up, she was always told the original Ila was kind, loving, and full of light. Over time, those stories gave her name a quiet kind of magic, so when it came time to open the boutique, using it felt right.
